The new GriGri+ features two alterations in design to improve safety. The top rope mode locks the camming system into active to prevent any distribution of slack. A rounded design to the back of the device discourages a thumb from disabling the cam.
MICROspike Ghost is a next step in the direction of ultralight equipment. Designed with thru-hikers in mind to be 43% lighter than the original MICROspike and just as effective. Add these to your pack and don't be caught unprepared. It's worth the weight!
