Warranties
- Most manufacturers offer a warranty on their products.
- If you encounter a defective product, please contact the manufacturer for a remedy. The manufacturer may direct you back to us. At which point we will handle the defect.
- If you experience difficulty working with a manufacturer or do not know how to contact them, please give us a call.
Security
- Here at Alpenglow, your security is our highest priority.
- Your credit card information is processed and stored by our secure software. For phone orders, your card information also goes directly into this software.
- As credit card fraud is on the rise, your order may be subject to a security hold, especially if it is shipping international. If you think that your order may be delayed due to this, give us a call.
- Orders paid for with PayPal must be shipped to the shipping address that PayPal has on file for your account. When you purchase with PayPal, please be sure to fill out your shipping address properly with PayPal.
Product Descriptions and Pricing
- AlpenglowGear.com does its best to maintain the utmost accuracy in both product descriptions and pricing.
- A few items may have incorrect or incomplete descriptions or photos, or their pricing may be an error.
- In the event that a product description is incorrect, please give us a call to arrange return of the product in its unused condition. If product pricing is inaccurate, AlpenglowGear.com reserves the right to not fulfill the order. We will contact you if this is the case to arrange for the order to be processed at the correct price or for it to be cancelled.

- Much of the gear sold at AlpenglowGear.com is used for activities that are inherently dangerous. Whether from personal decisions, environmental factors, or gear that fails, the possibility for injury or death exists. 1. Online Order Questions
1.1 Can I Change or Cancel my order after it has been placed?
We can't change or add any products to an order once it has been placed. If you're looking to do either of these things you will either have to cancel and replace your order or place a second order with the other products you're interested in ordering. If you are just looking to cancel an order, send us an email at [email protected] or give us a call at 207-866-7562 and let us know what you would like to happen.
2. Shipping Information
2.1 Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do ship internationally, current shipping rates will apply to the order. Please contact us first before you place your order so we can get you an accurate shipping quote.
2.2 What happens if a product arrives damaged from shipping?
We never want you to receive a package that isn't in great condition. We do realize however that boxes and packages can't always arrive how we intend them to, no matter how hard we try. If this is the case for your order, please send us an email with a picture and we will work with you to get the problem resolved in a timely manner.
2.3 How do I track my package?
Once your package has been filled by our team of gear guides, we update your order with the tracking number from one of our shipping providers (USPS, FedEx, or UPS). You will receive an email confirmation that will include your package's tracking number. If you are unable to find your tracking information then please send us an email at [email protected] or give us a call at 207-866-7562.
2.4 Can I pick up my order at one of your Retail stores?
Yes, you can! At check out choose the Instore Pick-Up Option and in the notes just tell us which location you plan to pick it up at. If we have any questions about the pick up we will either send you an email or call you during our regular business hours to clarify.
